CMLC is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors appointed by The City of Calgary. The diversity and depth of knowledge that our Board members bring to our organization have been instrumental in our achievements and success.
Doug has more than 35 years in the private and public sector of the real estate development industry. Most recently he served as the president of the western region for the Canada Lands Company responsible for the redevelopment of Garrison Woods and Currie Barracks in Calgary. During his career, he spent several years as a principal in the office and commercial development business in Calgary, followed by 20 years in Vancouver.
Doug received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan and his MBA from York University in Toronto. Doug joined the CMLC Board of Directors in 2010.
