Sian Matthews CLOSE
Sian Matthews is an independent consultant, formerly a partner with Bennett Jones LLP in Calgary. She practices in the areas of tax planning, trusts, and charity law. Sian is an editor of the Estates, Trusts and Pensions Journal. She holds memberships in the Law Society of Alberta, the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners, the Estate Planning Council of Calgary, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Canadian Bar Association. She has been an instructor at the Bar Admission Course and a sessional instructor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary. Sian has written extensively in legal journals on tax planning and presented papers at national and international conferences. Sian serves on the boards of several charities, and was recently appointed to the board of directors for Canada Post Corporation.
