Phil Wareham, C.E.T., Development Manager

Phil is responsible for the management of on-time, on-budget quality capital project contract completion and liaison with regulatory and approval authorities. Raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Phil has adopted Alberta as his home through a career that started in environmental cleanup and review projects with Kaizen Environmental Sampling Ltd and Jacques Whitford. In the last ten years, he has handled complex environmental projects such as Landfill Assessment and Remedial Works in the Tsuu T'ina Nation in Calgary, Husky Energy's due diligence of their acquisition of Mohawk Petroleum for numerous sites throughout Alberta, and many other environmental projects. Most recently, Phil concentrated on project management within the land development field for Three Sisters Mountain Village. Projects included a $2M creek realignment in a sensitive environment; a unique affordable housing project in downtown Canmore, Alberta; managing multiple, concurrent development phases with budgets from $2M to $10M; and directing construction and consulting activities on Three Sisters Golf Course. With extensive experience specializing in peer health and safety, Phil successfully developed a land development safety program that won a provincial award as a Work Safe Alberta Best Safety Performer. Phil is a team player with dynamic experience and excellent insight.
