CMLC has a very real and pressing mandate: to lead the rejuvenation of Calgary’s Rivers District and bring back to life some of the city’s fading neighbourhoods. The Rivers District Revitalization Plan is a public infrastructure program approved by the City of Calgary and the Province of Alberta to kick-start Calgary’s urban renewal.
CMLC is in the business of community redevelopment, with East Village as its first, and current, project. The Rivers District Revitalization Plan rebuilds neighbourhoods from the ground up, one piece of infrastructure at a time. The ultimate goal is to inject optimism and energy back into the inner city, creating places where communities can grow, build, believe and prosper.
