Langevin Bridge Closure

Beginning May 23 through to June 21, 2009, southbound Edmonton Trail over the Langevin Bridge into downtown Calgary will be temporarily closed to complete utility and construction work for Riverfront Avenue.

Motorists heading into downtown from westbound Memorial Drive should use the Fourth Avenue flyover and the lower deck on the Centre Street Bridge.

A lane reversal will occur for one lane on the 5th Avenue flyover to accommodate southbound traffic entering the downtown core. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the west side of Langevin Bridge. Motorists should expect delays.
