Stampede Land Opportunities
In early 2019, CMLC inked a marketing agreement with Calgary Stampede to lead the marketing and development strategy of Stampede-owned lands for mixed-use development opportunities crucial to realizing the vision articulated in the Rivers District Master Plan. This land assembly represents approximately 30 acres at the centre of Calgary’s future culture and entertainment district.
With this agreement in place, CMLC’s will first move forward to secure a hotel development partner to support the needs of the planned BMO Centre expansion. In February 2019, CMLC issued a Request for Proposals to from interested developer partners interested in building an adjacent hotel.
