Background and General Scope of Position:
Reporting to the CFO & VP, Corporate Services, the Financial Analyst will play a key part in delivering accurate financial insight and support corporate decision-making through forecasting, modeling, and reporting. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives, including special projects and process improvement efforts.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate it clearly to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Accountabilities / Deliverables:
- Lead financial forecasting, identifying trends and risks to inform planning, support with budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models to support long-term planning, investment analysis, and business cases.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate financial data to stakeholders.
- Assist in ad hoc analysis and special projects, providing timely and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce financial proformas for upcoming projects.
- Support the implementation of initiatives that increase control awareness and financial accountability across the organization.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional designation is an asset.
ESSENTIAL RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a financial analyst or similar role.
- Experience in the Development Industry preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial modeling.
- Experience with dashboard and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
