Finance & Corporate Services

Responsible for managing our day-to-day operations, IT systems and facility needs, this capable team keeps the CMLC machine running smoothly. Within this department, our team of accountants manages all of CMLC’s financial operations, including our innovative Community Revitalization Levy (CRL).


Kondwani Bwanali, CPA, CGA, Vice President, Finance And Corporate Services 

Responsible for the stewardship of CMLC’s financial strategy which includes managing the Community Revitalization Levy and other revenue streams. Ko oversees and coordinates the annual budgeting process while also managing the cash flows for CMLC. He is responsible for providing strategic direction to help fulfill the Information Technology needs of the organization. Ko and his team are responsible for the development of  timely and accurate financial reporting. Together with managing administration he is accountable for the organization’s Enterprise Risk Management and Human Resources functions.

Trained with Ernst and Young Chartered Accountants, his work experiences includes working in the development industry for several years with Assured Developments and Pointe of View. Ko has had experience in managing the accounting & administrative functions including the development and implementation of business processes and controls. He also worked on U.S. projects and was ultimately responsible for all the job cost analysis and financial and joint venture reporting functions for a U.S. division. Ko's positive attitude, diligence and attention to detail have proven key for CMLC.


Julita Leung, CPA, CA, CGA, Controller

Julita joined CMLC after nine years working in public accounting and two years working for a not for profit organization.  She has experience in managing teams, full cycle accounting, financial reporting, and management reporting. 

In her role, Julita works closely with the City of Calgary, the auditors, the Construction & Development team, the Marketing & Communications team, as well as her own team to ensure that financial elements are captured, recorded, and reported accurately.  She also monitors budgets and performs cash flow forecasts to analyze the financial positions of the projects and the organization.

Julita graduated with a BACS (Finance and Administration) from Western University in 2004 and obtained her CPA designation in 2007.


Chelsea McEwan, Senior Accountant (Maternity Leave)

A positive force whose upbeat personality and perennial smile are contagious, Chelsea joined us after amassing seven years of accounting experience in the oil and gas industry, She’s responsible for accounts payable administration; and with multiple projects always on the go, her ability to manage in a fast-paced environment is invaluable.


Tola Olokun, FCCA, CPA CGA, Senior Accountant

Tola joined the Finance and Corporate Services Team in July 2018. She has gained over ten years of accounting experience from working in both public and private enterprises in the UK and Canada. Tola’s job costing and financial reporting skills bring great value to CMLC.

Tola graduated with a BSc in Accounting from University of Hull, UK. She is a fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), UK and a member of CPA Canada.


Colleen Atterbury,RPA® Property & Corporate Services Coordinator

As CMLC’s Property & Corporate Services Coordinator, Colleen is responsible for the daily operations in the office as well as overseeing the property management of the Corporation’s building assets. 

Colleen joined CMLC in 2011 with an honours degree in Sociology from University of Calgary and more than 20 years of administrative experience, ten of those in construction and real estate. She earned her Real Property Administrator professional designation in 2016.


Nilou Khoshroo, Junior Accountant

Nilou joined the CMLC team in March 2019 as a Junior Account. She brings with her extensive accounting experience in accounts payable and receivable as well as cost accounting. Her industry experience at Wind Wood Homes and Shane Homes make Nilou an excellent addition to CMLC.

Nilou is equipped with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and obtained her CPA designation in 2016. Her friendly demeanor and passion for teamwork are a great value to CMLC.


Anu Sharma, Office Administrator 

Anu joined the CMLC team in March 2015 as the Office Administrator,  keeping the CMLC office humming at all times. She brings a great deal of administrative experience spanning the Oil & Gas, Non-profit and Banking sectors. All guests to the CMLC offices will have the pleasure of meeting with Anu as she keeps the day-to-day functions of the office running smoothly and coordinating a high volume of visitors in and out of the office. Her keen attention to detail and positive energy is valued asset to our team. 



Chanthima Nanthavon, Administrative Assistant 

Chanthima (Chan) Nanthavon joined CMLC in September 2017 as Administrative Assistant.  Previously, Chan worked in administration in the hospitality industry for four years.  With her positive attitude, engaging personality, and administration background, Chan is a great addition to the CMLC team.
