In 2024, Sumus Bankside Properties made a $60M investment in East Village through the purchase of Blocks E and Z, joining CMLC's growing roster of development partners. Today, construction is underway on the company's first East Village project, Library Square, while the recent acquisition of Blocks Q3 and Q4 marks the next chapter in its investment in the neighbourhood. Together with Slokker's completed Verve condominium development and the future Vibe rental project currently under construction, the projects will complete Q Block, a key residential development site in the heart of East Village.
