The City of Calgary
Our principal partner in Calgary’s urban transformation
In 2007, The City of Calgary created CMLC to kickstart Calgary’s urban renewal by implementing the Rivers District Area Redevelopment Plan—a public infrastructure program to facilitate the reclamation, redevelopment and revitalization of 504 underutilized acres on downtown’s east end. CMLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of The City—our sole shareholder.
